After graduating of high school, and traveling the world for five years Thompson relocated to New York to pursue a career in modeling. Married and divorced twice, she is the mother of two kids. Andrea Thompson's acting debut was made in the 1987 dramatic movie "Wall Street". She then made an appearance in a Monsters episode. The actress was portrayed in the 1989 episode as Genele Erikson. She was the character from the soap-opera "Falcon Crest". The following year, she portrayed the role of Nurse Helen Caldwell in the movie Delirious. With John Candy, Emma Samms Mariel Hemingway and Raymond Burr as lead characters, the film was not a success in the American box office. In 1992 she played a small part in the drama Civil Wars. She portrayed telepath Talia in the sci-fi drama "Babylon 5.' Her departure from the show came at the end of season 2. Andrea Thompson was born in Dayton, Ohio on 6 January 1960. She grew up with three siblings. Details about her parents are not available. In 1987, the actress was married in 1987 David Guc. They divorced their relationship in the year 1990. Thompson's son Alec was born in 1992. The father of Alec has not been identified. In 1995, she was married to actor Jerry Doyle. They have a son called Al. The couple separated in 1997.
