Katherine Heigl recently spoke out about growing up within "a the white bubble." She also shares the impact that this realization has had on her parenting of adoptees who are multi-racial. In a recent "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" as well as "Grey's Anatomy", star Katherine Heigl admitted that she did not care about her complexion until she came across her adopted sister who was from South Korea. In my interview, I asked Meg about how she was treated at public events, whether regardless of whether we were with our parents, the treatment was very completely different. She responded "Oh Yes! All the time!" That made me realize that I had been so naive," Heigl said to parents. The singer became angry by the incident, and decided to make use of her anger to support her two adopted daughters. Heigl's husband Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. 4 have been married for 13 years. Their child Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009; Adalaide is a Black 8-year old girl that was adopted by the couple in 2012.
