Markie Post (born March 29, 1961) has been an American actor best known for her role as Christine Sullivan, a public defense attorney on NBCs Night Court. Terri Michaels, who plays a bail bondwoman on ABCs drama The Fall Guy. Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman appears in CBSs Hearts Afire. She's appeared on a variety of other shows apart from acting. The Post family, which includes her two sisters and daughter were raised by her father, a scientist Richard F. Post, and poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School was where she studied and played soccer. She was briefly a student at Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. Post was married prior the wedding to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross (actor/writer) is Post's husband since 1982. They have two daughters. Post's role as a wife as well as mother is loved by many Hollywood stars. Some of her early credits include the pilot for the Barnaby-Jones show in 1981, Simon & Simon: Details at Eleven in 1981 season one, episode 2 of The Greatest American Hero and episodes from The A-Team. In 1983 she portrayed various characters in The Only Church in Town and Hot Styles in 1984. She appeared as Diane Chambers' best friend on The ABC sitcom Cheers as well as Buck Rogers as well as the sitcom Buck Rogers, where she played the character of Diane's most trusted acquaintance.
